How To Remove Paint From Concrete Without Chemicals [This Works]

I’m not a big fan of using chemicals of any kind for anything if I can help it. So, I went on a research mission to find a paint remover that uses no chemicals. That’s how I came across Soy-Gel. It works great for removing paint from your concrete. You can check it out on Amazon here, Soy-Gel

How To Remove Paint From Concrete Without Chemicals

There are 2 ways that I know of that you can remove paint from concrete without the use of harmful chemicals.

  1. Using a machine called a scarifier. It looks like a floor polisher except it has grinding wheels underneath it. They will grind off whatever is in its path. It works great for removing paint from concrete, but they’re expensive, so if you choose this route I’d recommend renting one instead of buying. The only trouble with a scarifier is if you stay in one place too long, you’ll grind holes in the concrete. That sucks! and don’t ask how I know 🙂
  2. Using a nontoxic paint remover. Like I mentioned at the beginning of this post, I recommend Soy-Gel. Its made of soybeans, so there no chemicals in it at all. All you need to do is apply it to the paint you want to remove and cover it with plastic for a few hours and just scrape it off!  It is messy and slippery so, be careful. No one wants to remove you from the concrete!

Conclusion

No matter which way you choose to go, you will get the results you’re looking for. Those are the 2 best ways I know how to do it. I hope this helped you out some.
